Mercury Marine hosted a Covid-19 vaccination clinic this past weekend at its global headquarters in Fond du Lac, Wis., according to a news report.
More than 160 employees received the Moderna vaccine, and the second dose will be administered May 22.
“Our No. 1 priority remains the health and safety of our employees and their families,” said Jim Sutton, Mercury director of occupational health and safety. “Although we aren’t requiring employees to get the vaccine, we want to make the opportunity available to them and make it as easy as possible.”
Mercury plans additional on-site vaccination events, pending vaccine availability, according to the report.
