Mercury Marine announced that Enrique Bolanos was named general manager for Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Bolanos replaces Brad Zoelle, who was named Boston Whaler president. Bolanos transitions to the APAC region after four years with Mercury’s Latin America business, where he most recently served as general manager.

“Enrique’s promotion highlights the strength of our talent pipeline and our commitment to developing outstanding leaders within Mercury,” Randy Caruana, vice president of the Americas and APAC, said in a statement. “His ability to deliver results and foster strong relationships makes him the ideal leader as we continue to expand our footprint in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.”

Mercury also announced that Raquel Silva succeeds Bolanos as general manager for Latin America. Silva has a solid background from her recent role as sales leader for Latin America, as well as previous experience as finance leader for Latin America based in Brazil.
