Quick Group announced today at Metstrade the goals and targets for its sustainability program. The company said it is taking action against climate change by adopting measures to promote the decarbonization of the energy system and to maximize energy efficiency in production.

“Sustainability is a core value for the group, serving as a fundamental foundation built on tangible actions,” Marco Rodi, Quick Group chief operating and sustainability officer, said in a statement. “It is becoming an increasingly important criterion for differentiating companies within the sector, with both end consumers — who are more attuned to these issues — and shipyards placing greater emphasis on it.”

The company expects its overall emissions to fall further in 2025. This continues a trend started in 2023 with a 12.5% decrease in emissions over the previous year, followed by a 6% decrease in 2024. Quick Group also aims to transition to electricity that is 100% generated from renewable sources with Guarantee of Origin certificates, the company statement said.

In further measures, Quick Group recorded a balanced gender composition in 2024 and set a goal of further improving inclusivity within the organization. The company said it has also guaranteed equal pay for all positions without gender discrimination.
