The Miami International Boat Show kicks off today at four locations across Miami: the Miami Beach Convention Center, Pride Park, The Yacht Collection Collins Avenue and Sailor’s Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande.
This year’s show marks a return of The Yacht Collection Collins Avenue after the Herald Plaza and Sea Isle Marina locations were eliminated.
The Miami show is owned by the National Marine Manufacturers Association in partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association, and is produced by Informa Markets. It has a $955.6 million economic impact on the Florida economy.
In addition to Boating Writers International announcing the winners of its annual writing contest this morning, the marine industry will spend opening day launching new boats, components and accessories, with press conferences scheduled throughout the day.
NMMA will hold its annual Industry Breakfast tomorrow before the show opens. There will be a full recap of today’s industry events in tomorrow’s Trade Only Today e-newsletter.
