The Marine Industries Association of South Florida has hired Megan Murchie as a digital media specialist. She will be tasked with steering the digital communications strategy, with a goal of enhancing the group’s online presence and engagement within the community.

Murchie’s experience includes curating social media presence, and cultivating brand identities in the sports industry and membership organizations. In her new role, she will oversee all digital media efforts, including social media engagement, content creation, email marketing and website updates.

“We are thrilled to welcome Megan Murchie to our team,” vice president Lori Wheeler said in a statement. “Her expertise and creativity in digital media are sure to elevate our digital presence. We’re excited about the innovative perspective she will bring to the association.”

Murchie said she looks forward to contributing to MIASF’s growth. “The marine industry in South Florida is so vibrant, and I am excited to be part of such an important mission,” she said.
