Winners of the 2025 Minneapolis Innovation Awards were announced during preview at the Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show this week. The awards, sponsored by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International, recognize manufacturers and suppliers that introduce new, innovative products to the boating industry.

This year’s program honored four Innovation Award winners across three categories — one in the aluminum and non-fiberglass fishing boats category, one in the pontoon category and two in the furnishings category.

“We’re honored to present the 2025 Minneapolis Innovation Awards to this year’s recipients, companies that are propelling our industry forward,” show manager Darren Envall said in a statement.

In the aluminum and non-fiberglass fishing boat category, Smoker Craft received the Innovation Award for its contour package.

In the pontoon boat category, Princecraft was honored for the Vogue 25 RL.

In the furnishings category, Barletta Boats received the Innovation Award for the Leggera helm with addressable lighting, and Bennington for its retractable keeper rail.
