Molabo, a German manufacturer of 48-volt electric propulsion systems, appointed Tommi Salonen head of global marine sales. Salonen will lead the company’s commercial expansion in the electric boating market.
“Tommi’s broad experience in network development, business transformation and global sales makes him the right person to accelerate our next phase of growth,” CEO Adrian Patzak said in a statement.
Salonen has more than two decades of international experience in marine propulsion, boatbuilding and marine equipment, including leadership positions at Quick, Torqeedo and BRP. He will be tasked with shaping Molabo’s sales strategy and expanding its network of OEM and distribution partners worldwide.
