Monterey Boats announced last week at the Miami International Boat Show that its new Elite 30 won both an NMMA Innovation Award and Boating magazine’s Boat of the Year award.

The awards recognize groundbreaking advancements in design and engineering. The Elite 30 earned top honors for its technology, craftsmanship and combination of luxury and performance.

“We are honored to receive the Miami Innovation Award for the Elite 30,” Monterey co-chairman Charles Marshall said in a statement. “This recognition is a testament to our relentless pursuit of innovation, quality and excellence.”

In naming the Elite 30 its 2024 Boat of the Year, Boating highlighted the boat’s blend of style, functionality and performance. (Boating is a sister publication to Soundings Trade Only in the Marine Division of Firecrown Media Group.)

“This award from Boating magazine is an incredible honor,” Marshall said in the statement. “It reflects our commitment to producing industry-leading boats that exceed expectations and deliver unforgettable experiences on the water.”

The Innovation Awards are presented annually by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International. Monterey Boats is based in Williston, Fla.
