The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas announced three new hires to support its Marine Industry Certified Dealership program, MRAA Member Benefits and its continuing advocacy efforts.

Jake Kolling joins the team as certification sales manager. A Minnesota native, Kolling worked at the dealer level with Arctic Cat, managing accounts and floorplan levels.

Washington, D.C.-based Chad Tokowicz was named government affairs manager. A Capitol Hill veteran, Tokowicz was inland fisheries policy manager for the American Sportfishing Association and has worked on the House Committee for Natural Resources. He was also a government affairs intern at Trout Unlimited.

MRAA’s new director of programs Jason Walz will lead and develop the members’ programs and benefits. Walz brings more than two decades of sales and sales management experience to the role.
“Marine retailers have seen success in the past 18 months despite unprecedented conditions, and we have been proud to support them as they navigate uncharted waters,” president Matt Gruhn said in a statement. “We see some clear areas where we think MRAA can offer solutions to what we believe will be the next set of market challenges, and these hires were made specifically with that in mind.”
