The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas yesterday launched, in conjunction with the Dealer Week conference, an artificial intelligence-powered content delivery system. Known as AIMIE, or AI for Marine Industry Education, the platform has been trained on the association’s catalog of dealer-focused content, and can access online courses, blogs, publications, webinars and websites.

“At the MRAA, our No. 1 challenge is our ability to connect, individually, the thousands of dealership teams out there to the most meaningful tools, resources and educational programs that can help them solve their problems and take advantage of the opportunities in front of them,” MRAA president Matt Gruhn said in a statement. “With AIMIE, we can now deliver on our mission to meet dealers where they are at, on their schedule, and in their greatest time of need. Additionally, this platform allows dealership employees to gather ideas and insights without having to always rely on someone else in their dealership to know the answers.”

Dealership employees can ask AIMIE questions or instruct it to create something like a social media post or job description. AIMIE also provides direct links to the resources it references so dealers can learn more about a requested topic.

Dealer Week attendees, including those participating in Dealer Week Online starting Dec. 11, will have access to AIMIE through the end of December. In January, AIMIE will be available to MRAA Silver and Gold retail members.
