The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas will host the inaugural MRAA Industry Summit April 6-8 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The invitation-only event is designed to bring together senior leaders from across the boating industry for strategic discussions about the challenges and opportunities facing marine retail.
“There is never a ‘perfect time’ in our industry to step away and address the future — which is exactly why we must do it now,” MRAA president Matt Gruhn said in a statement. “The MRAA Industry Summit is designed to bring the right people into the room for the conversations that matter most.”
MRAA said the summit comes at a time when the industry is navigating rapid change driven by shifting consumer expectations, increasing operational complexity, evolving technology and broader market pressures. The program is intended to create a structured environment where participants can examine the forces reshaping the industry and collaborate on approaches to strengthen long-term health across the marine ecosystem.
Over three days, participants will take part in facilitated discussions on such topics as price transparency, preparing dealerships and manufacturers for an AI-driven operational future, managing organizational change, and responding to economic pressures. MRAA said the summit aims to foster candid dialogue and collaboration among leaders to help guide the future of marine retail.
