Nautical Boat Club yesterday announced the opening of a Wilmington Island, Ga., location. The franchise is the company’s 28th overall location and the second in the state.
“We’re thrilled to be launching Nautical Boat Club in Wilmington Island,” Tom Gardiner, Nautical Boat Club owner, said in a statement. “Georgians love our Lanier Islands location, so we’re excited to extend the opportunity to experience boat life — the ultimate in boating ease, service, luxury and fun — to southeastern Georgia.”
The Wilmington Island facility is co-owned by first-time franchisee Shayne Mooney and company veteran Jon Dukes. It is based at Sun Life Wilmington Island Marina along Turner Creek, with easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway, Tybee Island and Daufuskie Island.
