New Nimbus CEO Assumes Role

Johan Inden acquires shares and options from R12 Capital, owners of the Sweden-based builder.

Nimbus Group announced that Johan Inden is the company’s new CEO. Inden most recently worked at Volvo Penta, where he led the global marine business.

“It’s going to be incredibly exciting and rewarding to lead Nimbus Group into its next phase,” Inden said in a statement. “After many years in the industry, I have a solid understanding of the company and its potential. Several global trends are driving an interesting growth phase in the marine sector, and Nimbus Group is exceptionally well-positioned to capitalize on this development.”

Nimbus Group produces and markets such powerboat brands as Alukin, Aquador, EdgeWater, Falcon, Flipper, Nimbus and Paragon. Its largest markets are the Nordic region, Europe and the United States.
