Budget Marine, which has chandleries throughout the Caribbean, has new shareholders. Aruban retailer Smart Industry Business Solutions joined the main shareholding group and provided retail and IT consultancy.
In the realignment of Budget Marine, founder Robbie Ferron will lead the flagship store and main distribution center in St. Maarten. Budget Marine’s business processes, IT and marketing are coordinated by a board of supervisors headed by Nicholas George, manager of the organization’s Grenada store. Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are now coordinated by Tony Waldron, manager of Budget Marine Aruba. Regional sales are led by Thierry Vigneron, and Jolyon Ferron is the new sales manager in St. Maarten.
Budget Marine has 12 locations in nine Caribbean territories.
