The Newport International Boat Show in downtown Newport, R.I., opens today and runs through Sunday, kicking off the fall show season. The show is centered at the Newport Yachting Center Marina and extends across seven interconnected sites along the harbor.
“We designed this year’s show so visitors can build a day around the parts of boating they care about most,” Jocelyn Emory, director of strategy, Informa U.S. boat shows, said in a press release. “A buyer can move from new models and brokerage yachts to hands-on education, while families and anglers have programs of their own in the new Fishing Village. Midtown Race Club adds another waterfront stop, whether a guest chooses the Windward VIP Lounge or the open-to-all Regatta Bar. With seven connected sites, reviewing the map and schedule before arriving will help showgoers make the most of their day.”
The show features hundreds of exhibitors, dealers and manufacturers showcasing an array of powerboats and sailboats from 15 to 90 feet, alongside equipment, services and accessories.
