The Newport International Boat Show opens today and runs through Sept. 14 at the Newport Yachting Center in Newport, R.I.
Spanning more than 17 acres with six connecting sites in Newport’s historic downtown, the show will include a variety of new sailboats and powerboats, including U.S. debuts. Show-goers also can browse products, services and accessories, and participate in educational classes and training.
“We can’t wait to welcome visitors to another incredible show,” Jocelyn Emory, director of strategy for the Newport show, US Boat Shows for Informa Market, said in a statement. “We’d like to thank everyone who helped bring this year’s show together, from our sponsors, partners, exhibitors and the surrounding boating community who join us every year.”
The Newport for New Products program again will showcase a variety of new boats and innovative products making their U.S. debuts at the show. Winners will be announced Sept. 12.
The show runs through Sept. 14.
