The National Marine Distributors Association announced that Sea-Dog Line, Polyform US and Presta/Malco Marine are the winners of its annual Supplier of the Year awards. The awards were announced July 23 during the NMDA’s S.T.E.P. conference in Rosemont, Ill.
Sea-Dog Line was named Supplier of the Year in the Diamond category. The Everett, Wash.-based company is a leading supplier of more than 5,500 dock, deck and rigging hardware items; 12-volt electrical/lighting; and ventilation accessories. Runner-up was Trident Rubber.
Polyform US was the winner in the Platinum category. Polyform fenders and buoys are manufactured in the United States and are used around the world. Runner-up was ARCO Marine.
In the Gold category, Presta/Malco Marine was the winner. The company, located in Barberton, Ohio, was founded in 1953 as a manufacturer of janitorial and industrial specialty chemicals. Runner-up was CE Smith.
Special focus awards within each category also were handed out for marketing, supply-chain efficiency and distributor channel support.
