The National Marine Distributors Association has named Bennett Marine the 2017 Supplier of the Year.
Awarded by the members of the NMDA, the honor recognizes companies that exceed the standards and goals set by the Supplier of the Year committee. Bennett Marine won the 2017 award in the Gold category.
“We are proud to receive this prestigious recognition from the NMDA members,” Paul Ness, general manager of Bennett Marine Inc., said in a statement. “At Bennett, hard work, integrity and the highest product quality are always top of mind, and it’s an honor to accept this award on behalf of the Bennett Marine family.
Bennett Marine is considered to be the largest manufacturer of hydraulic and electric trim tabs. In January the company launched AutoTrim Pro, a product that automatically and actively levels a boat.
Bennett Marine also said it will launch the AutoTrim Pro mobile app, which lets users customize trim-tab response time via Wi-Fi.
Bennett Marine was purchased by the Yamaha Marine Corp. last month as part of the subsidiary Yamaha Marine Systems Co.
