The National Marine Electronics Association and the Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services will hold their annual international convention Sept. 16-20 in Portsmouth, Va.
New this year, on Sept. 16 and 20, NMEA Level 3 manufacturers will offer half-day technical training sessions on their products. The first session will feature FLIR/Raymarine training, then CZone and Garmin. Friday will feature Furuno, then Simrad/Lowrance/B&G.
The convention also will include installer and business tracks, most of which are repeated twice, and manufacturer demo boats will be running, as well.
