The National Marine Electronics Association elected its board members for 2023. Terms started Jan. 1 and run for three years.

“Volunteering on the NMEA board for the past six years has been a great opportunity for me to give back to our uniquely important marine electronics industry,” newly elected chairperson Brian Kane said in a statement. “I am very much looking forward to building and maintaining relationships with dealer, manufacturer, trade and boatbuilder members, and the talented NMEA staff, to preserve our core mission while adding more value for NMEA members.”

The new board members:

• Richard Baker, Garmin, vice chairperson
• Jim George, ComMar Sales, trade director
• Mark Roche, QCS Marine Electronics, dealer director
• Ryan Martin, Honda Marine, manufacturer director
