The National Marine Electronics Association announced that it will provide installer certification classes in conjunction with Metstrade. The show is scheduled for Nov. 15-17.
“NMEA has organized and presented technical sessions and installer training courses at METS for several years, always drawing strong attendance and participation from the international community,” Mark Reedenauer, NMEA president and executive director, said in a statement. “We are excited to offer our full NMEA training and certification lineup to international manufacturers, installers, technicians and boatbuilders.”
NMEA is offering four classes:
• Basic Marine Electronics Installer
• Basic NMEA 2000 Network Installer
• Advanced Marine Electronics Installer
• Advanced NMEA 2000 Network Installer
