The Canadian division of the National Marine Manufacturers Association has elected new members to its board of directors.
Eric Nelson, vice president of sales and marketing at Mercury Marine, was elected board chair. Krista Sparkes, sales manager for Canada with Smoker Craft, was elected vice chair. And Marc-Andre Deschenes, senior advisor of public affairs and government relations at BRP North America, was elected secretary.
“Eric, Krista and Marc-Andre bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their new rolls on the NMMA Canada board of directors and helping to advance the interests of the recreational boating industry,” executive director Marie-France MacKinnon said in a statement. “Their guidance will be instrumental as we seek to promote and protect the many businesses and boaters who make up the Canadian recreational boating community.”
