The NMMA has launched two marketing initiatives that target different sectors of the industry. Its full-day 2018 Grow Boating Marketing Summit will take place on October 1 during IBEX.

The seminar will focus on how to leverage digital marketing channels through display ads, video, social media, email, search optimization and websites. The association has lined up seven speakers from inside the industry (Info-Link and Avala Marketing Group) as well as outside speakers from Cars.com, Google, Adaptly and others.

Discover Boating has recently made available free social media content for its stakeholders. The new program, called “Get Social with Discover Boating,” is available to industry stakeholders at no cost. It provides content for Facebook business pages. Users will have a choice of manual or automatic posting, with content specifically for the U.S., Canada-English and Canada-French markets.
