The California Boating Congress, sponsored by the Marine Recreation Association and co-hosted by the NMMA, is scheduled for April 28-29 in Sacramento. The event brings together stakeholders and leaders from across the marine industry and boating community to discuss boating and industry policy.
Robert Newsome, NMMA’s chief administrative officer and senior vice president of operations, “will present new data detailing the economic impact of the state’s recreational boating industry, including jobs and businesses supported by the industry,” NMMA said in a statement.
The event is co-hosted by several other industry and boating groups, including the California Association of Harbor Masters and Port Captains, California Yacht Brokers Association, Recreational Boaters of California, California Marine Affairs and Navigation Conference, BoatUS, California Delta Chambers & Visitors Bureau, Sacramento Valley Marine Association, and Coastal Conservation Association of California.
