The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced in a statement that it made additional changes to its 2021 show season.

The following shows have been canceled:

Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show

Progressive Insurance Northwest Sportshow

Also, NMMA postponed the Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show until April 7-11. It had been scheduled for Feb. 24-28. The association said it will continue to monitor the pandemic in the Atlantic City area to assure the event can be safely held.

“These decisions are the result of continued conversations with exhibitors, health officials, venue operators and other stakeholders to produce safe, successful and high-quality consumer experiences with health and safety top of mind for all involved,” NMMA president Frank Hugelmeyer said in the statement.

“While we determined most of our events in the early part of 2021 are not viable to produce,” he added, “we understand boat shows play a vital role in showcasing new products and generating sales for our industry, and we’re committed to resuming our full boat show lineup as soon as possible.”

NMMA said it expects to resume its entire boat show schedule in September.
