A National Marine Manufacturers Association white paper is designed to help members better understand California Proposition 65 and the regulations that will take effect Aug. 30.
Proposition 65 affects companies that manufacture, distribute and sell products in California that may contain chemicals known to cause cancer or birth defects, as well as other reproductive harm.
Those products may require a warning label under the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, also known as Proposition 65, according to the NMMA.
