The National Marine Representatives Association recently announced its newly elected 2010-11 officers and board members.
After a year of leadership, Jeff Gueterman of GSW & Associates, Apex, N.C., will become past president. Assuming his role as president is Rick Silverlake of Silverlake West Co., Huntington Beach, Calif.
Chris Kelly of Waters & David Co., New Orleans, is now vice president, and Kathy Munzinger of Munzinger & Co., Springfield, Mo., moves into the role of treasurer. Ken Smaga of ComMar Sales LLC, Land O’ Lakes, Fla., joins the officers as secretary after serving on the association’s board.
Two new members were elected to the six-seat board of and will serve three-year terms. They are Doug Peterson of the Gartner Group, Fort Lauderdale, and Jay Sanders of West Coast Sales, Vista, Calif.
Peterson and Sanders join board members Tom LaSanta of Anchor Sales & Marketing, Bayou Vista, Texas; Ivan Cross of Merifield Co., Camano Island, Wash.; W.M. (Pat) Black of W.M. Black & Co., Mentor-On-The-Lake, Ohio; and Chris Martorana of Macaroni Marketing, Watsonville, Calif.
