NMTA Grow Boating Grants Available

Ten $1,000 grants, to be awarded next spring, will go to businesses that help support boating in the Pacific Northwest.

The Northwest Marine Trade Association is continuing its Grow Boating grant program for 2023 and 2024, offering 10 $1,000 grants to businesses that support boating in the Pacific Northwest.

NMTA said in a statement that the application process closes Oct. 31. Grants will be announced in December, and funds will be distributed next spring.

The program is funded by a portion of exhibit space rental fees that NMTA collects at the Seattle Boat Show. Since 2003, the program has awarded more than $2 million.

Applications must fall into one of the following categories:

• Youth Boating Grant

• Discover Boating Grant

• Boater Education/Safety Grant
