In a significant expansion for the builder, Northern Marine’s new refit division will service its own models as well as other brands in the 50- to 80-foot category.
“We want to give the customers of Northern Marine a home to come back to,” Linn Jennings, director of manufacturing for Seattle Yachts, parent company of Northern Marine, said in a statement. “We’re the people that built their boat, and we have the facilities that can accommodate boats of that size and beyond.”
The refit division will operate at company headquarter in Anacortes, Wash., and will offer such services as:
• structural repairs and modifications
• systems upgrades and replacements
• interior refurbishing
• exterior refinishing
• performance enhancements
• custom stainless
• repowering
