Northpoint Commercial Finance named Gary Childress vice president of marine operations. An industry veteran with 30 years of experience in sales, operations and strategic planning, Childress will direct day-to-day procedures and strategic planning, including initiatives with suppliers “to foster stronger customer-focused synergy.”

Northpoint added that Childress will work with senior vice presidents of business development Russell Baqir and John Durnien.
