RIB manufacturer Northstar announced that it established Northstar USA, a subsidiary headquartered in North Carolina. Northstar is based in Izmir, Turkey, and produces RIBs for recreational and commercial markets.
Northstar appointed Boyd Tomkies, who has 17 years of experience in the RIB segment, chief executive officer.
“Boyd understands the needs of American boaters and the realities dealers face every day,”
Northstar CEO Cengiz Arsay said in a statement. “His operational strength and customer-first approach make him the ideal captain for Northstar’s U.S. expansion.”
According to the statement, the company has already secured several new dealers across key regions and is onboarding additional partners.
