OneWater Marine Holdings, which is based in Atlanta, has purchased Central Marine Service, which has two locations in St. Petersburg, Fla., and a third location in Stuart, Fla. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“We’re excited to have Central Marine Service join the OneWater family of dealerships,” Austin Singleton, CEO of OneWater Marine, said in a statement. “Bill and his team have built a powerful business that stretches across the state of Florida. The addition of Central Marine expands our footprint on the Gulf Coast while expanding our capacity to service boaters on both Florida coasts.”
Central Marine Service owner Bill Geiger said he wanted to make sure his employees and customers will be well served. “OneWater’s vision for the future, coupled with their experienced leadership team and unwavering commitment to customer service, led me to believe that OneWater could help take Central Marine to the next level,” he said in the statement.
Central Marine carries Century, Cobia, Glacier Bay, Parker and World Cat boats as well as Yamaha and Suzuki outboards. The company is known for being a Yamaha re-power center.
The company will continue to operate at its three locations under the Central Marine Service name and all personnel are expected to be retained.
