Portland, Conn.-based Petzold’s Marine Center announced its acquisition of Port Clinton Marina in Clinton, Conn. The facility now operates as Petzold’s Port Clinton Marina.
“Port Clinton Marina is a natural fit for our family — boater-focused, welcoming and full of potential,” Heather Petzold-Bell said in a statement. “We look forward to building upon its strong foundation and serving the shoreline boating community with the same care and commitment that’s defined us for eight decades.”
Petzold’s Marine Center celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. Petzold’s has additional sales locations in Norwalk, Conn., and Warwick, R.I., and owns Chester Boat Basin, a marina on the Connecticut River in Chester, Conn.
