The patent office of South Africa issued a patent to Plasteak Inc. for Plasdeck, its synthetic teak decking material.
Akron, Ohio-based Plasdeck was granted South African Patent No. 2008/09157, which validates the unique chemistry and design of the Plasdeck decking material, the company said.
