Polaris posted third-quarter marine segment sales of $133.4 million, up 29% from $103.4 million a year earlier, the Minneapolis-based manufacturer reported this morning. The company, whose marine brands include Bennington, Godfrey and Hurricane, said a favorable product mix and higher pontoon shipments drove the gains.
Gross profit margin for marine improved to 11.9% from 11.4% year-over-year, lifted by a positive product mix. Gross profit rose to $15.8 million from $11.8 million. Polaris cited market-share gains in marine during the quarter.
Companywide, Polaris posted worldwide sales of $2.04 billion, up 11% year-over-year, with reported diluted earnings per share of $0.66 and adjusted EPS of $1.08. The company raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $3.50 to $3.60, up from $3 to $3.10 — its third increase of the year — and now expects adjusted sales of $7.55 billion to $7.6 billion.
“The Polaris team delivered another strong quarter, reflecting progress we’ve made to strengthen Polaris and position the business for sustainable, profitable growth,” CEO Mike Speetzen said in a press release. “Our disciplined approach to dealer inventory, focus on operational excellence and pace of innovation are driving continued share gains and improved financial performance, enabling us to raise our full-year guidance for the third time this year.”
The results were aided by $10 million in tariff refunds, which benefited adjusted EPS by $0.13. Polaris reported overall net income attributable to the company of $38.4 million, a swing from a net loss of $16 million in the same quarter last year, when the segment’s broader business was weighed down by softer demand and restructuring.
