Fouling-release coatings manufacturer Propspeed promoted Marcus Hamilton to chief executive officer. Previously international sales director, he will be responsible for directing all company operations.

“This appointment cements the next chapter that we embark on together,” Guy Jacobsen, Propspeed founder and majority shareholder, said in a statement. “We believe Marcus is our future leader for delivering successful outcomes for Propspeed.”

Hamilton has worked for Fusion Entertainment and Garmin New Zealand. He has record of leading international sales and marketing teams, according to Propspeed, as well as experience implementing systems and processes and shifting leadership strategies to elevate and evolve businesses.

“I am proud to have worked with the sales team and our partners to expand Propspeed’s presence worldwide,” Hamilton said in the statement. “Propspeed’s success has been a result of the high-quality, talented and motivated employees we have, the industry leading products we sell, partners with whom we have built this business, and the passion of our customers and brand.”
