Prospec Electronics launched a new line of Harman/Kardon audio components available only to boatbuilders. The system comprises a source unit, an amplifier, a subwoofer, coax speakers and a DSP processor.
“The Harman/Kardon system has created an entirely new tier in the marine industry, titled luxury marine audio,” Josh Berry, Prospec vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement. “It gives the boatbuilder the ability to create a musical sound stage that was until now only available in very controlled environments like homes and high-end cars.”
Prospec said it will debut the components at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference in Tampa, Fla., next week.
