Quick Group announced at Metstrade this week its acquisition of Nemo Industrie, a marine accessories manufacturer based in northern Italy. Quick said that it also plans to complete the purchase of Sanguineti Chiavari, another Italian equipment manufacturer, and will acquire Xenta, a maker of control systems for yachts and superyachts.
Quick also announced that a major acquisition is expected next spring.
“We intend to strengthen after-sales service and develop advanced software that will improve the integration of on-board systems,” Quick CEO Michele Marzucco said in a statement. “In addition, we will continue development plans in the U.S. market. This will result in the goal of the group of reaching over 100 million euros. Finally, major production unit expansions are also planned.”
Quick said its goal with Sanguineti is to achieve growth of 33% in 2024 and a turnover doubling by 2026 after an investment of 3.5 million euros. The relocation of the company’s headquarters to Casarza Ligure will permit an expansion of about 64,583.46 square feet, which could provide a 35% increase in the workforce.
