The marine products under the ShoreMaster brand, which merged with HydroHoist in 2019 and acquired Neptune Boat Lifts late last year, have rebranded under the name Waterfront Brands. “Waterfront Brands’ vertical operational platform has been designed for growth. This will enable expansion into new markets, as well as provide further support and opportunities for our existing dealers, marine contractors and marinas,” Waterfront Brands CEO Don Hurley said in a statement.

After announcing earlier this year that an investment group had acquired a majority stake in the company, Boats Group added three brokerage sites to its online classified marketplace. BoatsandOutboards.co.uk and Boatshop24co.uk are based in England, and Boatshop24.com is a German-language site. “England and Germany are major boating nations and represent important markets in the global leisure marine industry,” Boats Group CEO Sam Fulton said in a statement. “Acquiring Friday Media Group’s leading online boating marketplaces was an attractive opportunity for us to widen our reach.”

Angling apparel manufacturer Gill Fishing retained the Colorado-based agency Rygr as an integrated marketing partner, supporting Gill across paid and earned media in the United States. “Rygr’s record in building young brands and delivering on creative, results-driven marketing ideas make them an ideal partner for Gill Fishing,” sales director Tom Houston said in a statement.
