The Marine Marketers of America announced that Boats Group vice president Courtney Chalmers was elected president, and Sea Tow International president Kristen Frohnhoefer was elected vice president. “I am excited to join the board as president and work alongside such a well-respected and talented team of industry leaders,” Chalmers said in a statement. Romina Bompani remains the association secretary, and new board members include Nautique’s Brian Sullivan, Malibu’s Jane Schlegel, and Regulator’s Keith Ammons. MMA founding president Wanda Kenton Smith remains in an advisory role as immediate past president.
Lazzara Yachts Group appointed Nils C. Nelson executive vice president. An industry veteran, Nelson is a licensed captain and third-generation marine professional, most recently serving as international sales manager for Northern Lights. He will be tasked with leading business development, customer service and sales efforts of the Tampa, Fla.-based Lazzara team.
Crevalle Boats parent company Littoral Marine named Roger B. Taylor Jr. chief operating officer. Taylor’s 20 years of experience includes positions with SeaHunter, Bertram, Edgewater and Donzi. “I am very excited to join the team at Crevalle,” Taylor said in a statement. “I think they have an amazing product and am very impressed with the design and quality of these boats.”
