Elkhart, Ind.-based marine and RV manufacturer and distributor Patrick Industries has completed an acquisition of Geremarie Corp, an aluminum component designer and fabricator that will bolster its marine-based clients. “Geremarie is a premier, innovative designer and fabricator of custom billet aluminum ski and wakeboard towers, components, trim, and accessories for major OEM brands in the marine sector,” said Patrick president and CEO Andy Nemeth in a statement. “We are very excited to partner with Jim Schultz and the Geremarie team, and we believe this acquisition represents an attractive cross selling growth opportunity within multiple end markets while providing the potential for tremendous synergies across our brand platform.”

The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas have announced three new partners; Indmar Marine Engines and the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation will join the MRAA as partner members, and Chaparral and Robalo parent company Marine Products Corp. has signed on as a Platinum partner. “MRAA is pleased to add these three outstanding partners to our membership list,” said MRAA business development director Allison Gruhn in a statement. “Adding renowned members to our esteemed membership community lets us deliver on our to serve as the voice of the marine dealer across North America.” The relationship an owner has with his or her local dealer is integral to the success of Indmar, said Indmar president Chuck Rowe. “We value our relationships with our dealers and as an organization MRAA provides valuable support and training for marine dealers,” said Chaparral and Robalo senior vice president Ann Baldree.
