Donations can be made directly to the site, with funds managed by the National Christian Foundation. “While this hurricane season has been tragic and life-altering for so many, we believe that our response can galvanize the community and offer hope for a better future in the region,” CEO Austin Singleton said in a statement.
WesCom Signal and Rescue named Ross Wilkinson its CEO. Wilkinson will manage the group’s growth strategy, business operations, and will be tasked with implementing several strategic projects to improve service. The company has “ambitious plans for the future and some exciting new projects in the pipeline to further enhance our position,” Wilkinson said in a statement. WesCom said its owner, private equity firm Sun European Partners, has the financial backing needed to support the brand’s future plans, including acquisitions.
Electric propulsion manufacturer Torqeedo said it established a direct distribution point in Italy to capitalize on the country’s growing social and political shift toward electric mobility. Maintaining a direct presence in Italy will enable Torqeedo to “standardize business practices and provide faster response times for builders, shipyards, retail dealers and end-users throughout the country,” managing director Michael Rummel said in a statement.
