The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced its second Florida advocacy fly-in, to be held in Tallahassee Nov. 12-13. NMMA is encouraging anyone with a marine industry stake in the Sunshine State to participate.
The fly-in will work to build legislative support for three initiatives: Everglades restoration, improving water quality and modernizing boating infrastructure, according to the NMMA.
Using the formula from the fly-in held last spring, the morning session will feature speakers and panel discussions, followed by meetings with legislators, including House and Senate leadership and key gubernatorial staff.
