Aluminum RIB builder Highfield Boats announced the creation of Highfield PRT (patrol/rescue/tactical), a dedicated professional division. PRT builds on Highfield’s global distribution and extends the brand beyond the recreational sector into the professional market, including law enforcement, search-and-rescue, patrol, military, and commercial operations.
The new division will be led by Highfield founder Julien Carussi as CEO, and Stefanie Sun moves from Highfield supply chain director to director of operations at Highfield PRT.
“Highfield has been quietly delivering boats for professional users for several years now, from rescue services to patrol and workboat operators,” Carussi said in a press release. “Those projects have grown steadily in number and in scope, and it has become clear there is a real gap in the market for robust, well-built aluminum RIBs at the right value. With Highfield PRT, we are structuring ourselves to fill that gap and to become a major player in the professional segment.”
The PRT portfolio comprises Viper, Raptor and Sentinel product lines, each designed for specific operational needs.
