Marine technology company Savvy Navvy announced that it appointed Keith Binley to its board. Binley is based in the U.K. and has more than two decades of experience in the data and technology sectors. He has been part of Savvy Navvy from the outset as an investor.
“With a track record of leading high-growth tech start-ups, we are super-excited for Keith to join our board,” CEO and founder Jelte Liebrand said in a statement. “He has from early on seen Savvy Navvy’s potential. … As we continue our ambitious growth plans, Keith’s experience is perfectly placed in our board to help us continue to scale.”
An avid boater, Binley runs JDV Coaching, which leverages artificial intelligence and “implements appropriate enterprise governance for small, fast-paced, growing businesses.”
“Having seen first-hand the innovation and dedication driving Savvy Navvy forward, I’m thrilled to be appointed their non-executive director,” Binley said in the statement. “This year already, Savvy Navvy has set up a global distributor network further increasing app sales, as we continue to challenge the bigger navigation solutions in the global market.”
