Saxdor Yachts announced the appointment of Don Smith as president of sales for the Americas, as the Finland-based builder strengthens its global presence and accelerates growth in the U.S. market.
“Don’s leadership and deep industry expertise make him the ideal choice to accelerate Saxdor’s growth in the Americas,” chief commercial officer Aki Juhakorpi said in a statement. “We’re excited to welcome him to the team.”
Smith has held senior positions at Groupe Beneteau, Brunswick, Regal Marine, MarineMax and Galati Yacht Sales. He has a strong track record in sales leadership, dealer-network development and market expansion, the company said.
