Scanstrut announced it was awarded the iF Design Award 2026, recognizing the Ventura Series for outstanding product design. The Ventura Series is a portfolio of compact exterior utility sockets, including 12-volt power, USB-C charging, solar inputs, a water outlet and television and AC power connections.
“The Ventura Series builds on a strong marine engineering heritage,” Scanstrut said in a statement. “With IP68 and IP69K waterproof protection, marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware and UV-resistant materials, it is equally suited to demanding marine environments, from RIBs and center consoles to larger cruising yachts.”
Presented by the independent iF Design Foundation, the award is a global benchmark for innovation and design excellence. The Ventura Series received the honor in the Product Design discipline, Automobiles category, recognizing its robust engineering, seamless OEM integration and cohesive, premium aesthetic.
“By bridging automotive and marine sectors, Ventura demonstrates the ability to transfer proven marine engineering principles into the fast-growing RV and overland markets, while also offering boatbuilders a refined solution for consistent exterior utility integration,” Scanstrut said.
