PHOTO COURTESY SEA PROSea Pro Boats announced at its annual dealer meeting in Columbia, S.C., that it has experienced 24% growth in sales during the last 12 months and a 4% increase in market share for all new boats between 15 and 50 feet.
Additionally, according to a statement, sales rose more than 27% during the previous 12 months in the 20- to 26-foot, deep-vee center console market, which puts Sea Pro among the top five builders nationwide for this category.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved over the past year,” company president Jimmy Hancock said in the statement. It validates our belief that innovation and being strategic about new models can create significant growth — even during a tough market.”
The company also reported that Sea Pro is now the largest builder of bay boats from 17 to 25 feet, and that the 230 Bay and 172 Bay are the No. 1 selling 23- and 17-foot bay boats, according to the statement.
