Sea Tow Services International named Capt. Thomas Spina vice president of franchise operations. The maritime industry veteran brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, from his work with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line to serving as an active-duty Coast Guard marine inspector.
“Based on his experience, Tom was certainly a standout for this position, and we are excited to welcome him to the Sea Tow family,” Sea Tow Services International CEO Capt. Joseph Frohnhoefer III said in a statement.
Spina will manage the Sea Tow franchise network and will work alongside the franchise development team in the rollout of new businesses.
“It is an honor to be a part of the Sea Tow family and all that the company represents to boaters,” Spina said. “I grew up watching Sea Tow’s distinctive yellow boats help people on the South Shore of Long Island. … I’m looking forward to working with the network of Sea Tow captains and continuing to grow the Sea Tow brand.”
