SeaWide Distribution announced that Bill Rogers, who has served as president since SeaWide became part of the LKQ Specialty organization in 2021, will retire at the end of this year.
Rogers joined SeaWide in 2011 after leadership roles at organizations that include GE, Textron and Armstrong World Industries. He has taken the company through a period of growth, including delivery network and service expansion, strengthening its position in the automotive and RV markets, and strategic acquisitions.
John Ruch succeeds Rogers as president. Ruch joined SeaWide 2009 and has served in various roles, most recently vice president of fulfillment.
“I am looking forward to retirement and getting to do some of things I never had time for,” Rogers said in a press release. “I am also thrilled to leave the company in such capable hands. John has been part of the business as long as I have, and has led the largest part of the organization. He knows our business, our customers and our people exceptionally well. I am confident in his abilities to take us forward.”
